Domestic & International shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Our goal is to offer you the best shipping options, no matter where you live. Shipping options and their charges are listed below and will be displayed at checkout.


AUSPost Standard (5-7 business days): Free shipping Australia-wide.

AUSPost Express (1-2 business days): Please enquire with us to get an accurate cost of shipping.

Signature on delivery required. Order tracking available.


We currently do not ship overseas but stay tuned!

Also, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24-36 hours.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Bantu Africa is not responsible for any extra customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are also the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).


We advise that you do not accept any packages if they clearly damaged or torn. We will not refund if customer accepts a damaged box from the courier.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods while filing a return claim for damage.


Return & Cancellation Policy

We are committed to making our customers 100% satisfied with their purchase. Therefore, If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase (because of quality issues or damage) you may return your purchase to us within 14 days of receipt and receive the refund of your purchase price minus shipping and handling costs, or you may have a choice of free replacement after returning your purchase. Please contact us by e-mail for return instructions and a Return Authorization (R.A.) number.

A Return Authorization (R.A.) number must be obtained from Bantu Africa in the event that items are to be returned . Before initiating a return service, we suggest that you have the invoice number and product description ready; this will greatly reduce the processing time; in some cases, we might ask for proof of purchase.

We will require the Customer to show the R.A. number prominently on the outside of the package to reduce the returns processing time.

All items must be returned to Bantu Africa within 7 days from the release of the R.A. number.

Returns Policy

All returned items must be in brand-new condition, unused and with the original packaging. Requests to return items due to quality issues, damage during shipping, color/style/size error from use must be accompanied by photos or other evidence that clearly shows the problem with the item received. Paintings with quality issues eg more than a 10% variation (see variation paragraph below) are eligible for a full refund minus shipping costs within 14 days of receiving your order.

Damaged paintings are extremely rare. Please do not accept packages if they are damaged, creased or torn. Bantu Africa will not refund paintings if customer accepts a damaged box from the courier or Australia Post.

Returns will not be accepted if the painting has deliberate damage.

We do not offer refunds on items that have been wrongly selected or for change of mind. 


Please note that all products from Bantu Africa are 100% hand-made, and each piece may not be exactly the same as the other so there may be a slight variation. Variations may occur due to differences in the nature of the material used, and/or the nature of the medium eg. our paintings are painted by real artists and not copies of original art.

Cancellation Policy

Any order cancelled within 12 hours of payment confirmation will be eligible for a full refund. It is a 100% money back guarantee.

Orders cancelled more than 12 hours but within 24 hours of payment confirmation will be eligible for a partial refund consisting of the 75% of purchase price (if the item has not been shipped).


Once your order has been shipped, the order can no longer be cancelled.
