Q: Where is your company based?

A: Our company operates out of Melbourne, Australia and work directly with our partners in East Africa.

Q: Do you have a brick and mortar store or you only sell online?

A: We do not have a brick and mortar store, we sell all of our products online.

Q: What options are available while purchasing a painting?

A: All of our paintings come rolled and packed in dent-resistant tubes. For an additional $150, we can do the stretching for you. The options are displayed while selecting your painting of choice.

Q: What are your products made out of?

A: Most of our products are hand crafted out of different types of wood, a few wooden pieces contain elements made out of cow or camel bone. Every product has its specific information listed on the product's page.

Q:Do your paintings & decor pieces look exactly like the pictures on the website? 

A: Bantu Africa's products are all hand made and therefore some variation is always a possibility but we aim to make each piece similar to the next, yet different in its own sense.

Q: Do you practice Fair Trade?

A: Yes, our operations adhere to fair trade practices; we pay fair prices for all the work done by our partners. This company was started by a brother & sister team from Kenya, with the purpose of showcasing the unique skills of their fellow African community who have no platform to display their talents.
 

Q: What do you do to combat illegal logging in Africa?

A: We stay informed and proactive about the fight against illegal logging in Africa, mitigating any possible risk of illegally sourced timber for our products. Not only do we carry out our due diligence in sourcing our suppliers, we also act proactively in planting more trees and educating local communities on forest conservation. In association with Green Love Kenya, we organise tree planting programs & implement reforestation programs within local communities.

Q: How much will it cost to ship my order?

A: It is free to post within Australia via regular postage. Express Shipping & International shipping will incur an additional cost, listed on our Shipping & Returns page here.

 

Q: Who will deliver my package?

A: Australia Post to your door, signature required. If you are not home, a note will be left indicating local pick-up point. Bantu Africa uses Australia Post for all of our deliveries.

Q: How long will it take to receive my goods?

A: Standard delivery will take 5-7 working days within Australia. Custom pieces will take longer - we have to perfect it!

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept Paypal, VISA, Mastercard & Amex.

Q: Do you sell your products worldwide?

A: Not at this current stage. Get any International shipping updates by subscribing to our newsletter!
